When the tag line is "Hot Guy Paradise"...

It's let's throw every remotely hot 2nd rate actor in one show and slap the title of a manga on it!  I feel like I'm looking at the cover of a really intense dating sim for girls...  The ugly guy in the corner would be the one who was really really really stupidly hard to get.

Harajuku in 4 minutes

Jinnai Takanori's wife is a former model

This isn't news, but I had a tough time finding this.

His wife is 秋山 絵梨子 .

Koi no Karasawagi is ending this year

Apparently Koi no Karasawagi has had significant ratings decline, after 17 years on the year.  Isn't it just typical that just after I discover something, I find out that it's going away.

Jin's Yellow Gold Concerts

I went to Akanishi Jin's first concert in the United States.  I was actually kind of disappointed.  I realized just now that THIS is what I was expecting to see:

Kamiyama Ryuji

I feel like I don't have a good reason for liking Kamiyama Ryuji as much as I do, other than I've talked to him, and he was really sweet.  But whenever I think of him, I check his blog, and it just makes my day better (like this adorable post).  Properly speaking, he's not destined for greatness, he's the embodiment of a 3rd rate entertainer, most of his work comes from theater work in small productions, and maybe he sells some cds from his band, sometimes he rises above, but never far.  If you wanted to speak ill of him, there's probably a lot you could say.  He's got as much edge as a stick of butter.  But I like him, and I hope he achieves the things he wants to achieve.

PS: I also really love his NAME!

Anego Bloopers

Akanishi Jin

I'm not a Jin fan (despite following him on Twitter), but I loved Anego, and I could watch it all over again (for the third time).  Kudos to whoever subbed this bloopers clip from the DVD.

OddDarling on Twitter

I've (finally?) started a twitter account, @OddDarling (it's a long story).  The content is similar to what is on this blog, though it has Japanese posts as well.  Apparently, Twitter is extremely popular in Japan, but I mostly got on the train because I wanted to keep track of @Jin_Akanishi.  And now I am following @Leo_Akanishi (most Jin fans know him as Reio, the younger brother of Jin), just because.  Maybe he'll say something interesting.

Jin is a teddy bear thief

Akanishi Jin

JinCrew (apparently the term for the core cast of Jin's American concert tour) member Aubree Storm posted this cute picture drawn by long term Jin fan @mickey_Gii.

She especially likes the bow in Jin's hair, and I agree, it is the coup de grace.

Koyuki married to a younger guy

So, in 2003 when Kimi wa Petto came out, he would've been...  *actually* the age of Momo?
